Comparison Side by side

Where Eywora goes further.

Both find products. The difference starts where a B2B catalog starts: technical attributes, patchy data, long variant lists and a purchasing team that wants numbers.

The difference Five modules, one contract

What you get on top of search.

A search box fixes the symptom. These modules deal with the reasons a B2B shop loses revenue in search.

01

Search that reads spec sheets

V2A finds A2 stainless. DIN 933 finds the hex bolt. Compounds, part numbers, OE references and dimensions are treated as attributes, not as strings that have to match.

02

Health: the data behind the results

A Health Score per product shows which fields are missing, contradictory or empty — and which of those gaps is actually costing you searches. Search quality stops being a black box.

03

Analytics in euros, not in hits

Revenue per query, the zero-result list that needs attention first, and the ROI of the whole thing. Numbers your management already asked for.

04

An assistant that cannot invent a product

Both products ship a chat assistant — Doofinder from the Pro plan up. Eywora's sits as a tab in the search widget, filters only on values that exist in your catalog, never invents an article, and hands back to normal search if the AI is unavailable or the credit balance runs out.

05

Your catalog, digital

The PDF catalog becomes a flipbook with product links, QR codes and measurable clicks — the sales channel most B2B shops still print.

06

Traffic does not move the invoice

Crawlers, a campaign spike or a trade-show week change nothing: search queries are never counted. The bill follows your catalog size and the modules you keep switched on, so you never have to decide whether a search is worth the money.

Pricing Two billing logics

Metered, or planned.

Per-request plans

You pay for traffic

The published plans run €49, €149 and €349 per month for 10,000, 150,000 and 400,000 requests. Doofinder counts a request “each time our server responds to an action”: results appear from the third keystroke, each crawled page counts, and indexing 1,000 items costs 10 requests.

  • Budget follows traffic and indexing, not revenue
  • Crawlers and re-indexing use the same allowance as customers
  • Growth means the next tier, not a product decision
Eywora, unmetered

You pay for the platform

Search queries are not counted at all. You pay €149 a month for 20,000 products and one index, then switch modules on and off by the month. Only the AI features draw on prepaid credits — and if the balance runs out, normal search keeps working.

  • Unlimited search queries, at every catalog size
  • Cancellable monthly, 12% off with annual billing
  • 14-day trial with every module unlocked, no credit card
Switching From Doofinder to Eywora

A switch is a day, not a project.

1

Connect the data

Either our plugin for Shopware, Shopify, WooCommerce, JTL or OXID, or the product feed you already export — CSV, API, PIM or ERP. No template surgery either way.

2

Mapping & index

We map the technical attributes to facets and build the index. Typically done within 24 hours.

3

Run side by side

Eywora runs in parallel on a staging URL. You compare real queries before anything changes for customers.

4

Swap the widget

One snippet replaces the old one. URLs, tracking and design stay as they are — and the Health report lands the same week.

Honest answer Not every shop needs us

Which one fits you.

Doofinder is the better call when

  • you are on one of their 30+ platforms and want search live today
  • your catalog is described in everyday language, not in norms and part numbers
  • you want AI visual tagging or 1:1 personalization out of the box
  • your monthly request volume fits comfortably inside one of the published tiers

Eywora is the better call when

  • your catalog carries norms, materials, dimensions or OE numbers
  • product data is patchy and nobody can say what that costs
  • you need search revenue in a number your management accepts
  • a request-counted invoice is not something procurement will sign again
Questions Asked before every switch

The practical questions.

Is Eywora a Doofinder alternative?

For B2B shops, yes — and more than a like-for-like swap. You replace the search and gain data quality, analytics, a digital catalog and an AI assistant in the same licence. For a small B2C shop that only needs a better search box, Doofinder is the simpler answer.

What does Eywora cost compared to a Doofinder plan?

Different logic, so it depends on your volume. Doofinder publishes €49, €149 and €349 per month for 10,000, 150,000 and 400,000 requests. Eywora starts at €149 a month for 20,000 products and one index, with unlimited search queries at any traffic level; modules are added per month (Product Health €29, Extended Analytics €39, Guided Search €19, Image Search €49, Flipbooks and Recommendations €99.50 each), and larger catalogs move up a tier (50k €49, 100k €89, 250k €179, 500k €329). Cancellable monthly, 12% off yearly, 14-day trial without a credit card.

How long does a migration take?

From the first feed to a live index, usually 24 hours. We run in parallel on staging so you can compare real queries against your current search before the widget is swapped.

Do we need a shop plugin?

Only if you want one. We ship plugins for Shopware, Shopify, WooCommerce, JTL and OXID — on those systems that is the fastest route. Everything else, including home-grown platforms, connects by feed or API (CSV, PIM, ERP), and results come back through the widget or the API.

Where is the data hosted?

In Germany, with a signed data-processing agreement. Product data and search logs stay inside the EU, and we document what is processed where.

Can we keep our current design?

Yes. The widget takes your CSS variables, and the API route gives you full control over the markup if you want to render results yourself.
